The Artist: Ron Tropiano

Ron Tropiano or “Fingers” as some of his peers call him, is a powerful bassist with a commanding humility onstage. He is comfortable in a wide variety of musical styles from Jazz, Swing, Blues, Rock, Country, Funk, Motown and R&B to Reggae and all popular music. The list continues on thru songs of Worship and Prayer and a deep appreciation for Classical as well.

 

He is a bass player’s “bassist” with years of tenacious technique and the true heart desire to master his instrument. Ron plays 4, 5 and 6 string electric basses and the upright double bass.

 

His career has taken him all over the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia and continues to receive international offers. He has played in ensembles ranging from solo to horn driven big bands complete with string orchestra.

 

Ron has toured, performed and recorded with many giants of the industry.He has performed on commercials, jingles, live broadcasts on radio stations, albums, television, awards and charities.

 

Some of the charities include the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day Telethon, American Heart Foundation, Camp Good Days and Special Times for children with cancer and Hurricane Relief just to name a few.

 

Ron has a large catalog of original material and is a member of the Songwriters Guild of America (SGA). He is also a well-known educator and instructor.

 

Originally from New York, Ron now resides in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
